Flowers
Small white flowers in clusters are neatly spiralled along the stem.
Leaves
Elliptic oval leaf, Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle, Perfoliate leaf stem on the flat underside of the leaf, and appears to pass through the leafto pass through the leaf. Rosette leaves: oval to long, pointed, serrated, shiny, green-violet.
Stem leaves embrace the stem, appearing to be pierced by the stalk.
Fruits Seeds
Silique: two fused carpels, heart-shaped, concave, stalked.
Edible
Leaves: rich in Vitamin C and sulphur, peppery to the taste.
