Description

The White Campion has its reproductive organs on separate plants (dioecious), it needs to be cross-pollinated.

The flowers have an inflated, fused calyx, not as inflated as Bladder Campion.

Open habitat, fields, wasteland on neutral to alkaline soil.

Leaves

Elliptic oval leaf, Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Oval to long, wider in the middle, pointed, opposite on the stem, undulated, hairy, 4-10 cm long.

Fruits Seeds

Capsule: elliptic, yellowish-brown, splits open when ripe, 6-14 mm.
