Description

Sedum tenuifolium and Sedum sediforme are the most common Sedums in our area. Both grow on old walls and in rocky habitats. The leaves are very different, also the flower colour.

Flowers

The flowers are pale yellow with 5-8 petals, usually with a red mid-vein; 10-16 stamens, borne in lax clusters.

Succulent fleshy, water-retaining leaves. Linear-cylindrical, fleshy, pointed.

Fruits Seeds

Follicle: 5 dried up compartments of the ovary opening on one side to release the seed.
