Description
Numerous short stalks packed with leaves. The flower stalks last well into winter. Grows on old walls, rocky places.
Flowers
The flowers are pale yellow-green, borne in a dense, erect inflorescence on branches that curve backwards, in fruit they curve inwards.
Leaves
Succulent fleshy, water-retaining leaves. Thick, oblong and fleshy, flat on one side, pointed, grey-green, dense.

Follicle: with multiple jointed parts, many seeds.

Leaves: edible in small quantities.
