Description

The full name of Lesser Celandine is Ranunculus ficaria subsp. ficariformis

In early spring, in damp or wet shady places, it grows in abundance.

The roots are tubers, enlarged structures used as storage organs for nutrients.

Large, shiny, light yellow flowers.

Cordate heart-shaped. Heart-shaped, fleshy, dark green.
