Description
The stalks have prominent brown scales. Grows extensively in damp, wooded areas. Often cultivated as an ornamental.
Leaves
Bipinnate leaflets on either side of the stem, each leaflet is further subdivided. Fronds with leaflets on either side of the stem, each leaflet is further subdivided, 4-14 cm long, tapering towards the tip.
Fruits Seeds
Sori: elliptical in shape, forming two rows on the underside of each leaflet.
