A tuberous perennial having enlarged underground structures for storing nutrients.

Flowers

The narrow flower stalk carries up to 25 fragrant white flowers tinged with yellow-green. The upper sepal and petals form a loose triangular hood, obscuring the opening into the spur. Night-scented. Lip is linear to oblong. The spur (25-30 mm) is slender, horizontal to down-curved.

Elliptic oval leaf. 2 basal leaves, broadly oval, shiny.
