A late flowering bee orchid.

A tuberous perennial with large underground structures for storing nutrients.

Flowers

The flowers are small, clearly marked with light-pink to deep-pink sepals and petals. The dark, reddish-brown lip has 2 small lateral lobes and 1 large central lobe, almost always edged with yellow and with a pronounced upturned yellow tip.

Leaves

Elliptic oval leaf, Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Basal leaves are oval to long, wider in the middle, pointed; stem leaves narrow.
