Description
A bee orchid named after ‘Liguria’, a region in Italy. A late flowering bee orchid.
A tuberous perennial having enlarged underground structures for storage of nutrients.
Flowers
Narrow green sepals, yellow petals and a large brownish-black lip, densely hairy, with a small pointed tip.
Leaves
Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Six basal leaves, long, wider in the middle, pointed; stem leaves narrow.
Fruits Seeds
Capsule: numerous seeds.
