A climbing or sprawling plant with winged hairless stems.

Grows in grassy, uncultivated areas.

Flowers

Racemes of flowers (4-11) are borne from the leaf axil. The flowers look similar to sweet peas but are not scented.

Leaves

Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. 2 long pointed blades, with branched tendrils between the leaves, blue-green.
