Description

Previously under the name Senecio cineraria. A heavily branched, white felted sub-shrub.

Grows in rocky outcrops near the sea.

Flowers

The flowers have canary yellow ray florets and orange disk florets.

Leaves

Pinnatisect leaf is deeply lobed, almost to the central midrib. A rosette of leaves, with lobes almost to central midrib, lobed margins, silvery above, white beneath.

Fruits Seeds

Achene: a cluster of 1-seeded fruit with tufts of hair.
