Description
A delicate-looking plant, branched at the top, surprisingly hardy, in dry habitats. The upper branches are long, straight, leafless.
Flowers
The flowers are white to lilac, fragrant, borne on long leafless stalks in rounded clusters.

Linear narrow blade leaf, like grass. Very narrow, smooth.

Silique: tulip-shaped seed, two fused carpels.
