Description

Dwarf shrub with a soft hairy appearance.

Garrigue, rocky and stony places, open woodland on calcareous soils.

Flowers

The buds are tightly curled unfolding into pale yellow flowers. Sepals are fringed with hairs. In common with all Rock-roses there are 3 large and 2 small sepals.

Leaves

Linear narrow blade leaf, like grass, Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Long, pointed, rolled under margins, white hairy underneath.

Fruits Seeds

Capsule: splits into 3 parts.
