Description
The reddish stem is covered in fine hairs. A small plant, often hidden between dry grassy tufts.
Flowers
The flowers are star-shaped, yellow with a touch of green, in umbels of 5-12 flowers.

Linear narrow blade leaf, like grass. Two basal leaves, linear and grooved; 2 opposing stem leaves.
Fruits Seeds
Capsule: covered in spines, large for the size of plant.
