Description
A dwarf shrub, similar to a Rock-rose but with linear leaves. The flower stalk is longer than the leaf.
Garrigue, stony hillsides, dry pastures, generally on calcareous soils.
Flowers
The flowers are borne in small clusters. The sepals are quite distinguishing, 3 green-veined large sepals and 2 small ones.
Leaves
Linear narrow blade leaf, like grass. Alternate, linear, regularly spaced along the stem.
Fruits Seeds
Capsule: in 3 parts, bending downwards.
