Description
A weed that grows in pavement cracks, stone walls, gravel and dry, compacted soil; invasive. The stems originate from a central tap root and spread out in a circle.
The reddish or green stems as well as the leaves exude a milky sap.

The flowers are numerous and tiny.
Leaves
Elliptic oval leaf. Oval, rounded at the tip, finely serrated, opposite each other on the stem, small.
Fruits Seeds
Capsule: stalked, 3-lobed, splits into parts, 2 mm long, 1.5 mm wide.
