Description

A plant that grows in damp conditions on calcareous soil. Tall sturdy stems, downy, often tinged red.

Flowers

The pinkish-purplish fragrant flowerheads are made up of tubular disk florets.

Leaves

Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle, Whorled cluster of leaves encircle the stem. Long, wider in the middle, pointed, whorled on the stem.
