Description
The name Stork’s Bill is descriptive of the length of the fruit. Bracts are oval and densely hairy.
Flowers
The flowers are blue-lilac with darker veins, in clusters of 3-10 flowers.
Leaves
Pinnate row of leaflets on either side of the stem. Rows of leaflets on either side of the stem, variable in size, lobed and serrated.
Fruits Seeds
Achene: seed with long beak, splits open into 5 parts, 6-10 cm long.
