Description
Grows on eroding mountain slopes of limestone rubble and gravel.
Flowers
Solitary large yellow flowers with ray and disk florets.
Leaves
Ovate leaf is egg-shaped, wider at base, Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Basal leaves: egg-shaped, large, undulated or serrated.
Stem leaves: long, wider in the middle, pointed, alternate along the stem.
Fruits Seeds
Achene: a cluster of 1-seeded fruit, cylindrical and hairy.
