An orchid that grows in shady and wet conditions, in forests as well as wet meadows.

A tuberous perennial.

The white flowers are stalked. The petals and sepals are equally long and pointed, the lip is short, splashed with yellow.

Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Long and narrow, wider in the middle, pointed, alternately arranged on the stalk.
