Description

Hairy perennial. Similar to the Campanula trachelium but less robust.

Flowers

The drooping flowers, borne on a long spike-like cluster, mostly on one side, are bluish-violet, with 5 deep lobes; lower flowers open first.

Leaves

Elliptic oval leaf, Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Oval, long, pointed, alternate on the stem, serrated.
