Description
Grows generally in shady habitats, open woodland, rocky places.

Leaves
Cordate heart-shaped. Heart-shaped, downy, coarsely serrated. The short stemmed leaves are mid-green when young, turning dark green when mature.

Nuts: 4, small, enclosed within the calyx.
