At the end of the flowering period it is very easy to recognise this plant. Whilst still flowering, the spent flowers develop into two round disks, resembling a pair of glasses.

Flowers

The 4-petalled flowers are borne in clusters at the top of the stem.

Leaves

Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Long, pointed, serrated, notched and hairy.

Silique: two fused carpels welded together.
