Description
One of the more common ferns growing in damp, shady woodland, mostly on acid soil. It is a deciduous fern with bright green leaves. The fronds arise from a central clump, each frond 20-90 cm long, 5-25 cm wide.
Although this fern is to be found in damp woodland, it is somewhat drought resistant.
