Description
An erect, much-branched plant. The bracts underneath the flower are in 3-5 rows, shiny and sticky.
Grows in dry, often hilly areas.
Flowers
The blue to pinkish-lilac flower cluster branches from a central point. The flower has distinct yellow stamens.
Leaves
Linear narrow blade leaf, like grass, Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Long and narrow, pointed, stalkless, mid green.
Fruits Seeds
Achene: a cluster of hairy 1-seeded fruit.
