Description
An erect plant usually unbranched. As soon as the flowers have wilted, they turn into long, thin, erect seeds, which surround the stem.
Flowers
The tiny white flowers are in clusters.
Leaves
Spatulate broad end of the leaf tapers to the point of connection with the plant stem, Sagittate arrow-head shaped leaf with downward lobes. Basal leaves: in a rosette, broad end tapered at the base, slightly toothed.
Stem leaves: clasp the stem with ears on either side.
Fruits Seeds
Pod: numerous, long and cylindrical in shape, pressed close to the stem.
