Description
A tufted, hairless perennial with numerous rush-like, tough, bluish-grey stems.
Grows in light woodland.

Flowers sky-blue, rarely white, with 6 tepals, each tepal has a dark mid-vein.
Leaves
Linear narrow blade leaf, like grass. Leaves reduced to membranous sheaths just below the flower.
