Annual or biennial. A very soft, hairy plant.

Flowers

The pale yellow flowers are arranged in clusters at the top of the stem, the buds are covered in hairs.

Leaves

Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Basal leaves: long, wider in the middle. pointed, lightly serrated or not, softly hairy, greyish-green, stalked.
Upper leaves: without stalks.

Fruits Seeds

Achene: a cluster of small, 1-seeded fruit.
