Description
Also referred to as Anchusa azurea. Robust, bristly, hairy perennial with branched flower stalks.
Flowers
The flowers are borne on lax, floppy stalks, purple in bud, maturing into 5-petalled, strikingly blue tubular flowers.
Leaves
Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle, Elliptic oval leaf. Oval, long, wider in the middle, pointed, 30 cm long.
Fruits Seeds
Nut: small, enclosed within the calyx, 1 cm.
